My Thoughts:

This series was so good! Roman and Lux's story was just awesome. It was a fast-paced, emotionally charged, character-driven, spicy storyline worth losing sleep over. You hate Roman initially and come to love him by the end. He's the perfect unhinged boyfriend. I absolutely, loved that Lux takes charge and becomes the queen she's meant to be. She isn't taking any BS this time around. I was a little sorry that when Lux found out who Bree's killer was she didn't get to off him herself. A nice trip to the basement seemed fair to me. But you decide for yourself. 

I loved this whole series and highly recommend it. 

Now to wait for Wynn's story "Look What You Made Me Do"... She deserves it! We know another Sacred Son is about to learn a lesson.

My Thoughts:

I was not prepared for this to be so good! Colt and Layla are the cutest, spicy, age-gap couple. He's the rugged I don't deserve happiness cowboy and she's the woman with an old soul. She's sexy, down to earth, and ready to conquer life. 

Colt has a dirty mouth that will make you blush and wish you were living on that mountain with him. While Layla isn't shy in the least. She's willing to give as much as she takes. She's a cowgirl in her own right that will have you eating out of her hand and staying up all night with her. I loved every minute of this story and stayed up way past my bedtime to finish it. Only to wish I hadn't so it wouldn't end. But at least there's a book 2... Storms story.

My Thoughts:

This is my first book by Alta Hensley. I'm definitely going to be keeping an eye out for future books. The spice is top-notch between Fiona the MFC and Braken the MMC. I mean he's hunting her in the woods right off. It only gets better from there. Braken has some friends, Sorren and Merrick who like to share. I know I don't need to say more here! Grab it you won't be sorry...

I'm adding the first book Heathens to my TBR and will be waiting patiently for the next book...

My Thoughts:

A dark, and magical Cinderella retelling. This was so good. I devoured it in a day. Cinder, the MFC is a feisty, sexy, orphan with nowhere to go but up. Along comes Nero, the MMC he is sexy, rich, and a stalker. What more could you ask for? A secret society that runs in the basement of Midnight Manor maybe. Heck yes! Sign me up. I loved both character's stories and how they connected. Both are afraid and worried about getting hurt. They both drew me in until the end.

I also listened to the audio of this book. Jason Clarke & Callie Dalton did a fabulous job. Jason has a dark scratchy voice that sent chills up my spine. So good! I recommend either narrator.

This is a series but can be read on its own. Although I now want to read the first two books in the series. Highly recommend!

This was a quick 157 pages of steamy, fun stories. I read this in one evening and loved every minute. If you run across a story that wasn't for you, don't worry it will be over in a flash. But I enjoyed each and every one. This was a great switch-up from days of reading a story to finding out what was going to happen. It was definitely a page-turner. Highly recommend!

My Thoughts:

This book was a delight with a Rapunzel/Jack the Beanstalk fairytale retelling vibe. I loved the world-building and the magical elements of the story. Who wouldn't want to have wings and fly? Or use shadows, water, or fire to create magical things. And the banter is out of this world. All the characters were such a delight. Poppy the MFC has been stuck in a tower for 22 years and has no idea how to use her magic. She has wings but no idea how to make them work. Then along comes Lochlan the MMC, the Playboy Prince. He has lost his shadow and can no longer use his magic. But he will save Poppy and help her find her gran no matter the cost. Maybe even his life. I loved every page and can't wait for Book 4 in the Stolen Crowns series - Wilds of Wonder coming September 18, 2024. Maybe Driscoll will get his own story. He deserves it!

My Thoughts:

Siena does it again with another great romance. Dakota the MFC is a 21-year-old virgin, who wants nothing to do with professional athletes. Dakota is an author writing a romance about a hockey player who knows nothing about hockey. Research will need to be done. Good thing that  Braxton the MMC is a professional hockey player and available and willing to give her private lessons. I loved the slow burn to this book. Braxton is in no rush. He is out to gain Dakote's trust and break down all her walls. So they can build a lasting relationship together. I also loved all the characters from previous books. They made an appearance and you got to continue learning about their lives. It was great. 

It took a while for the spice to get started, but once it did. Oh, man... That "Sin Bin" scene will live on in my mind! I can't wait to see what comes next in the upcoming new series the Indy Speed, Maddox's, Jenner's, and Sasha's stories.
