My Thoughts:

Ella, the FMC, is a sweet, generous, curvy older woman with a stalker. Lucky for her, a little fender bender puts her into the path of the MMC Jack. Jack is ex-military. He's sexy, owns his own company, and is willing to loan Ella his new G-Wagon while her car is being repaired kind of guy. Jack will stop at nothing to find Ella's stalker and keep her safe. 

This book does have some spice, but not over the top... Maybe a three... I can't wait for the next book in the series.

My Thoughts:

This stand-alone Alice in Wonderland retelling grabbed me from page 1. I loved the characters, the mystery of the storyline, the banter, and the slow burn tension between Emory the MFC and Maverick the MMC. The Indiana Jones-style treasure hunting added a little bit of danger. And let's not forget Driscoll, a side character; he is over the top. I really hope he gets a story of his own. 

If you haven't read any of the other books in this series, I highly recommend them. They were all great!

My Thoughts:

This was a quick read with only 9 chapters. I found myself liking the MFC Cara a bit more in this book as she tended to stick up for what she believed in more. As for the MMC Derron, he is still arrogant, but I think he may come around to Cara's way of thinking and find life more valuable than the fight. We'll see in the final book, Eternal Steel.

My Thoughts:

 

It's taboo and forbidden... I was all in. He's a pastor, and she's a prostitute. The MFC Willow is curvy and sassy, and I can do whatever I want kind of woman.

While Rowan, the MMC, has been through a great loss and has his path set before him.  But when he sets his sights on Willow, that all changes. He's obsessed from his first look. This book is spicy and has great characters. I loved it!

Need a quick, spicy pick-me-up? This story is a short 71 pages, that's full of action and love. The MFC Lucis is a badass, and the MMC Trevor is there for it. The storyline was interesting and fun. With 71 pages, it's not much of a commitment. It's meant to be fast and dirty.

My Thoughts:

 

This is a Book series written by multiple authors. Each author's book can be read as a stand-alone. However, each author follows a world with different characters and kingdoms. 

This book is set in the Ferric Empire, which has metal elementals. The world has a steampunk mafia vibe. 

Cara, the MFC, is from the ruling family. Her magic can heal people, but it comes at a cost to her life. Cara was a likeable character, but I felt she could have been a bit more forceful. She let people walk all over her.

Derron, the MMC, is a worker. His magic can shape metal, but it also comes at a cost. Derron is a rogue, set on his own path. He's likable in a morally gray way.

I loved the storyline, characters, and world. I can't wait to read book two, Violet Steel, and find out what happens next.

My Thoughts:

 

There is a lot of world-building and character development at the start of this book. It's full of dark themes and triggers. so read those before starting.

Imani, the MFC is in a constant struggle of good versus evil. I feel she could use a bit more spark, but she is just coming into her own, so I'm hopeful she will grow more. 

Kiran, the MMC, is the ultimate unhinged bad boy and doesn't care about the consequences. He has all this magical ability that I can't wait to find out about. He's also hiding a secret... I can't wait to find out what it is.

This book does end on a cliffhanger, but it leaves you wanting to read book 2.

This novella is a quick read to get you lined up for the story to come. It's packed full of action, fantasy, great characters, and a little bit of romance. I loved how we learned what Ash the MFC went through to get where she is. It piqued my interest. It left me looking forward to book 2, Blessed by the Fae.

This was an amazing series. The time travel aspect and the fated mate from each era were great. I loved that Anna's mate was completely different each time she found him. This time around, her mate is Cain (hot stuff), and he hates her. But Anna sticks with him and breaks him down. The banter was top-notch. I loved the characters and the storyline. The ending/demise of the bad guy, Baldur, seemed short to me. But other than that, I loved it.
