Book Summary:

Demons are now dogging their every step, and it is becoming harder to tell friend from foe. As their quest for answers becomes increasingly dire, Magnus and Alec will have to trust each other more than ever—even if it means revealing the secrets they’ve both been keeping.

My Thoughts:
Although this is a stand-alone book it would be beneficial to read the Shadowhunter Chronicles first but not required.
This was a great story of adventure and a budding relationship. It was filled with great descriptions and world-building. It had magic, heroics, and love. You will find yourself cheering for the two main characters Magnus Bane and Alec to work out all the troubles in Magnus's past so they can finally live happily ever after or at least finish their vacation together. This was a really great young adult fantasy romance.
Also, the Narrator BD Wong did a wonderful job. All of the many character voices were superb!
