My Thoughts:
This was the perfect short story detailing Molly's life during captivity and after for those of us who were wondering what happened to Molly. The story jumps from past to present detailing and filling in information that was missing. Molly the MFC is strong and resilient with a take-no-prisoners attitude. Cage the MMC is cheesy and sweet yet has an obsessive nature. I loved that he stuck with her and helped her heal. This book was lighter than Hunting Adeline but still filled with triggering items.
P.S. If you like dark romance with some blood this could be the book for you. Make sure and read the trigger warnings before reading.
