Luciano Beneveti was reputed to be the most feared person in America if one was being modest. At only twenty-nine years old, he was a ruthless ruler and an even deadlier Made Man.
So naturally, when his father tragically passed from a deal gone wrong, he stepped up to the throne and claimed his position as the new Beneveti Boss. It was safe to say, this man was definitely not to be messed with.
Nobody had dared to cross him.
Nobody until her.
My Thoughts:
I was captured by MFC Katarina's smart mouth right from the start. She has a lot of spunk and determination for a mafia wife. We all know this will get her into a lot of trouble. Then along comes the MMC Luciano the ideal mafia boss. Strong, sexy, and a killer. But he has a soft side too. Like funding a house for battered women. His way of dealing with his demons. The characters all drew me in, from Arnold the driver to Maria the housekeeper.
Since it's a mafia book I thought it could have had more violence and I little more spice (but that's just me) but other than that I enjoyed the story and would recommend it.
P.S. If you love mafia, enemies to lovers romance books this could be for you.
