Book Summary:

Kiiro’s family is perfect. Her realm is the picture of peace. But when she unlocks the wrath of their Ancient deity, she is cursed to live as the First Dragon, a reality that frightens everyone around her. Except for Neander. And of course except for those who she’s already eaten. The dead can’t really complain, can they?

Jump into this wild ride of a fantasy romance! Laugh, feel, cry, and laugh again as you find out you too have always been a Dragon.

This story is a standalone within the First Collection and the series can be read in any order. Reading Paths are available within each story so you're not lost as you devour each epic tale of love and fearless magic.

My Thoughts:

Let's start with the cover. I don't like it. If I was to see this at the bookstore I would not pick it up. As for the story, I didn't fall in love with it at the start. Reading felt like I was missing parts of the story at times. But by the middle Kiiro and Neander had reeled me in. They had me rooting for them to end up together by the end. I feel the story could use a little more world-building but all in all I enjoyed reading it and would recommend it to others. If you like dragons and romance this could be for you.

P.S. I'll definitely be checking out the other books in the collection.
